Care

At the Ottawa Grace Manor, we strive to provide the best care and services possible to our residents.

Nursing

Nursing caregivers are made up of Registered Nurses (RN’s), Registered Practical Nurses (RPN’s), Personal Support Workers (PSW’s)/Health Care Aides (HCA’s). Staffing is allocated according to the level of care needs on each home area. Twenty-four hour nursing care is provided for all residents.

Spiritual Care

Spiritual Care at The Salvation Army Ottawa Grace Manor is part of the holistic care provided to all our residents and is an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team. Chaplains in the department are there to assist and encourage residents to draw upon their own religious beliefs and resources as they seek to face the challenges or crisis before them. Emotional and spiritual support is also provided to family members, staff and volunteers.

As part of the Palliative Care Services available at Ottawa Grace Manor, a Chaplain is on-call 24-hours per day seven days per week, offering Caregiver Support to residents and their families and friends
